Starting with squares of black fabric, which can be combined with each other, a very long conversation about dwelling, made up of words drawn with chalk and then embroidered, was drawn up during the project days at the end of November 2022.

For four days, one of the rooms of the Artillery, in Turin, was inhabited by conversations about dwelling in constant evolution, left by passers-by on this space made of fabric, enlarged day by day and piece by piece.

Participation in this work has been a fundamental element for a shared construction of thought and space. The carpet did not have a precise shape but moved in every direction, became symmetrical or asymmetrical, and acquired the characteristics that the collective thoughts that composed it chose to give it. This space, made of fabric, can change shape from occasion to occasion, becoming a dynamic and chameleon-like archive.
