Ho portato un pezzo di casa con me (I brought a piece of home with me) is a mobile home, a vehicle for transporting and creating an intimate place within the public space, whereby welcome and host anywhere. An object that draws attention, provoking questions and encouraging conversation. Walking, observing the territory, engaging with its inhabitants to collect stories, allowed us to get to know a place and, through the repetition of this action, to ritualise the space.

What does it mean for us to inhabit a space? What is home? Where is home? What characterises my dwelling from that of others? What is the fabric of living and how does it manifest itself in the Borgo Dora neighbourhood?

From our personal curiosity about the old district, we developed itineraries and proposed ways to explore and discover the area. We walked on the edges, observed the relationship with the river, get to know squares and meeting places.
